A.B. Newton & Company- Will Blaine, Andrew Crabtree, and Matthew Peacock

I got to spend my lunch break with Will Blaine, Andrew Crabtree, and Matthew Peacock, the owners and designers of A.B. Newton & Company. A.B. Newton & Company creates unique apparel and home decor items that give a modern edge to vintage styles. Their products celebrate your hometown’s individual sense of place through an artful array of equally thoughtful apparel and merchandise, all custom-designed by their team.
We discussed how Will and Andy started A.B Newton & Company and how it started as a salute to their charming little city with a juicy past, Winter Garden in Central Florida. It wasn't until Matthew came in and had them thinking BIGGER and expanding their offerings up and down the east coast and into the mid-west, highlighting local home towns with a mixture of thoughtfully curated products that speak to local residents and visitors alike. I spoke to the guys about why they started A.B. Newton and if it was difficult in adding a third owner to the business.
We discussed how they setup at the Winter Garden Farmer's Market to sell their items and get customer feedback.

We also spoke about dividing the work and growing where they have employees in helping. How they started doing their City Series Art prints and how it expanded their reach and customers. We also discussed how they are set up wholesale, on their website, etsy and also in some brick and mortar locations along with aspirations for their own storefront.
