Things by Dave and Hello Comics- Dave Murray

My guest this week is Dave Murray, who has been making bad jokes into physical objects since 2006-  He is the Master and Commander at Things By Dave and co-owner of 2 comics shops in VA, Hello Comics- a two time nominated store- for the Will Eisner Spirit of Retail- which honors a retailer who has supported the medium in both their local community and the larger world of comics,

I’ve known Dave since before I started Deli Fresh Threads when he had a brand called Seibei-  He now makes stickers/tees/things at Things By Dave and he and his wife Kate and I co-own 2 comic book stores called Hello Comics in VA.  He is also a professional manga reader.

I had the opportunity to chat with Dave and discuss how he got involved in comics and also what led him to start up doing Things by Dave.
