Scotch & "good" Conversation- Peter von Taborsky

I got to spend a long lunch break with Peter von Taborsky, creator, and host of Scotch & "good" Conversation podcast - a podcast about having a couple of drinks & getting to know people by asking smart people stupid questions. Peter started this project as an excuse to catch up with old friends, meet some new ones, and hopefully score some free bottles of Scotch in the process. His podcast has allowed him to speak with actors, directors, authors, his favorite musicians, to his fav teacher, his mom, friends, and ex-girlfriends.

I chatted with Peter about how he started and how he grew his podcast. How he used his small business as a sponsor and got more than just free bottles of scotch but some corporate sponsors at the same time. We spoke about how he comes up with his questions and the format of the show to how he gets his guests to ask him anything. We spoke about the work it takes to build an audience and be so consistent all these years. We chatted about guests sharing more once the mics turn off and the importance of sharing and supporting small businesses. We also spoke about him taking a break after 350+ straight episodes and him starting back up again after a few months off.

Lunch with Biggie is a podcast about small business and creatives sharing their stories and inspiring you to pursue your passion, with some sandwich talk on the side. Created, edited, and produced in Orlando, FL by Biggie- the owner of the sandwich-themed clothing brand- Deli Fresh Threads.
