I got to spend a lunch break with Quay Hu, the owner of Qreate Coffee + Studios- a shared creative space with the most unique caffeinated creations. Qreate answers the question “Why isn’t there a place with premium roast blends, artisan coffee, and tea drinks that’s also a shared creative space/studio with blazing-fast Wi-Fi where I can chill and be inspired to create and collaborate with other people?
I visited Qreate Coffee in Orlando, FL, and sat down with Quay Hu and discussed how he got into photography and how he got into becoming an SCA Barista. We spoke about how he would go around town and take photos as a destresser of his high-level corporate role and how he became a professional commercial photographer. We also spoke about how he got so intrigued with coffee that he became a certified barista and how those 2 concepts led him to come up with the vision of creating a coffee and studio space in Orlando, FL.
