I got to spend my lunch break with Chelsea Preston, the illustrator and owner of Jelly Press, a Florida based illustration and paper product brand that showcases the fun, quirky & vibrant inspired products.
I spoke to Chelsea about how her love of travel & collecting local art inspired the to start of Jelly Press; we discussed how she followed her own advice she would provide her students to use their art skills/talent. We discussed her ability to see a need and develop a solution with her brand. Chelsea also discussed speaking her desire for her brand into existence and how you never know who will see your work/product and it could lead to working with national chains like REI. I also discussed with her on how she decided to start the Society of Florida Explorers, a society of explorers dedicated to appreciating all things Florida!
