I got to spend a lunch break with Bobby Wesley, co-host of the Orlando Story Club and someone who hosted a solo show at the Orlando Fringe Festival. Bobby is also a Marketing and Strategy Consultant who thinks every BLT should be legally required to be a BELT (add fried egg over easy).
I chatted with Bobby and we discussed how he got involved with the Orlando Story Club. We spoke about what Orlando Story Club is and I asked his advice on how you get out of your comfort zone to stand up and speak in front of an audience. We spoke about his decision to do a show at the Orlando Fringe Festival. We spoke about his creative process and how he always has a pen and paper to write down observations and thoughts. We also discussed his experience working with clients doing Marketing Strategies and if there is a common thread he sees between his clients and storytelling.
