I got to spend my lunch break with Julie and Jean Summers, the owners of Sugar Rush Marshmallows- a specialty marshmallow and s'more business. Who make everything from scratch (from their extracts to our 'mallows, grahams, puddings, cookies, and etc.) and are primarily a food truck that services the greater Orlando area, and also have an online store that offers nationwide shipping (sugarrushmarshmallows.com)
I spoke to Julie and Jean on why marshmallows and about their journey to become a food truck. We discussed how they started their own kitchen to produce their sweet confections and their importance of wanting to make it from scratch without corn syrup or corn starch. They shared with me some tips and advise that have helped them along the way.
