I turn the BIG 4-0 on Tuesday, Sept 20th  and I want to celebrate it with you at Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream from 7-9pm for a Birthday #SandwichEatUp!

Every birthday needs something sweet to eat so why not enjoy some Ice Cream Sandwiches with me!

September 20th is my actual birthday and I want to enjoy it with you!

I have been a big fan of Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream in Orlando and they make some great home made ice cream! Have you seen how many flavors they offer?  Check them out here.  They make all of our ice creams & sorbets at their shop located at 3114 Corrine Drive, Orlando, FL 32803.  They recently were just nominated as one of Orlando Weekly’s Orlando’s best ice cream.

I‘ve spoken to Kelly and they will be offering a variety  of tasty ice cream sandwiches. How does Confetti whoopie pies with our strawberry ice cream sound?  What about a Chocolate chip cookie dough cookies with white chocolate ice cream? Or want a more traditional onetry their chocolate chip cookies with vanilla or chocolate dipped ice cream sandwiches.  Yes they will all be there along with some other seasonal flavors to choose from.

Kelly also told me that they prefer to make the sandwiches ahead of time but for this special #SandwichEatUp they will be offering the ability to create your own, and  for those undecided a sandwich cookie flights?  Since they are making cookies fresh help let us know you are coming and please RSVP on Facebook or Yelp!   (Please note they will have a limited number of spare cookies for creations).

Here is what Yelp has to say about this ice cream dream- 4.5 STARS

If you know me- I feel that birthdays are to be celebrated with friends and family.  So I look forward to seeing you on September 20th as I bring in my 40’s with friends and a sweet ice cream sandwich!

You can follow Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream on Facebook, Twitter, or their website.

What’s a #SandwichEatUp?

If you have not attended one of my 31 other #SandwichEatUp events you may be wondering what is a #SandwichEatUp? Well it’s a monthly sandwich meet up where anyone that enjoys a good sandwich can meet and try a new place along with others. Each month, I try to pick a sandwich shop that is not a chain, that I enjoy in the Central Florida area and we all meet up and help support another small business that makes great sandwiches. I usually do them after work on a Monday or Tuesday night (usually a slow night for a business and it makes easier to accommodate all of us).

I hope you can come out and enjoy a sandwich with us on Saturday, September 20th 7-9 at Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream.

If you check out Deli Fresh Threads and are interested in buying something from my site  use the code: SHOPLOCAL and get free shipping and I can hand deliver your order to you at the #SandwichEatUp or I can drop it off at The District on Mills 50!
