Holy Cow I’m 2 years old! Deli Fresh Threads has been up and running for 2 years now. Can you believe it?
I’ve had the opportunity to work with some creative artists and designers. I enjoy the whole creative process and seeing that vision into a finished product is awesome.
I’m 2 years in and still in love with what I’m doing, I really do enjoy working on Deli Fresh Threads.
DFT has opened up other opportunities for me this year: presentations, podcasts, guest blog posts & more interviews.
Year 2 has lead to #SandwichEatUp attendance getting bigger every month.
I’ve met new people and formed new friendships!
Slowly the DFT name and brand is getting out there and I look forward to keep growing this love of mine.
So what’s to come as we head into year 3?
You can expect more shirts and merchandise than in year 2. In Februray I will release 3 new shirt designs and 2 custom hats.
Expect more #SandwichEatUp- adding some weekend events and maybe a breakfast or dessert version.
I have a fun idea I want to do with Biggie Bread. I want him to see the US and I’ll need your help
Speaking of seeing the US. I’m planning to do a #SandwichTour of Portland, Oregon this year. Do you have a few places you should would recommend and want me try? Please let me know.
I’ve also learned a lot in the past 2 years. Here are some things I’ve learned:
Is my brand perfect? NO, but this is a labor of love, and definitely a slow process. I’m enjoying every minute of it as I continue on this journey with DFT making the brand grow.
I’m still trying to build my following… Baby steps, so I keep climbing and building this community.
Quality over Quantity
Sometimes when you want something so bad you create expectations that you forget what you have accomplished. I’m so glad I took the time to do a 2014 year in review. It made me realize all the great things I’ve accomplished. It provides great insight.
I do this for the love and this is my creative outlet.
