Dale Earnhardt Jr, What’s your favorite sandwich?

Nascar Driver Dale Jr and his favorite sandwich

I appreciate it when people point out to me or make me aware of people they like or enjoy and what their favorite sandwich is. I am not a big fan of NASCAR but I appreciate anyone who enjoys a good sandwich and loves what they do.

I asked Rick Currey, who has guest blogged before on What’s Your Favorite Sandwich? (Wil Wheaton), to write a little about NASCAR favorite Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Thanks Rick for contributing again and please make sure to go and check out Rick’s blog , Entertaining Orlando and follow him on twitter at @FatGuyFix and @EntertainingORL.

OK Rick- Ready Set Go…..

Growing up in the Daytona Beach area there are a few things that are hard to ignore. NASCAR is one of those things. One of the biggest names in the world of NASCAR is Earnhardt, whether it be Ralph, Dale, Dale Jr or even Theresa.

I personally am not as big into NASCAR as I once was preferring the skill of road courses to the all-out speed of ovals but as a child it was rare I missed any event happening at my home track.

Dale Earnhardt Jr., better known as just Junior, is one of the premiere drivers in the world of racing as well as being the owner of JR Motorsports. Junior himself drives the number 88 Chevy for Hendrick Motorsports while owning the 5, 7, 9 and 88 in NASCAR’s developmental series the Nationwide Series.
His twitter account is actually one of my favorite sports related accounts that I follow. He is always interacting with the fans and going above and beyond to make sure everyone feels like they’re part of his everyday life.
I’d love to see him get back behind the wheel of a Corvette in the near future to compete in a Rolex 24 or Sebring 24. There’s not much the man can’t do behind the wheel of a car.

You can try to keep up with @DaleJr on twitter and be sure to visit his site DaleJr.com and Like his Facebook.

It looks like Dale likes more than just the Italian.  I found out he also likes these other sandwiches…

Would you try a Banana and Mayo sandwich?

What about a No Fry Chicken Parm sandwich?
